| - | Dunn has an extensive record of investigative success in white collar investigations, including insurance fraud. He was the lead investigator and undercover agent in Operation "Quietus" which targeted insurance fraud in Northwest Indiana . Specifically, Dunn partnered with the insurance industry, Insurance Crime Prevention Institute (ICPI), and other law enforcement agencies in securing convictions against over 30 individuals who filed false and fraudulent stolen car claims against automobile insurance companies after they had "given up" their cars to would-be chop shop operators who were in actuality undercover FBI Agents and police officers. The mail fraud and wire fraud statutes were very successfully utilized in this investigation and in several other insurance fraud investigations conducted by Dunn, which included orchestrated automobile crashes, fraudulent medical claims and bogus burglaries.

| Of the many arson-for-profit cases successfully investigated by Dunn, one involved a Chicago fireman who owned a low-income rental unit. After conspiring with the would-be torch to burn the building, but yet prior to the actual fire, the scheme was discovered by Dunn and the fireman was arrested and later convicted. He was successful in appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court, although the Court upheld his conviction by a 9-0 vote. |

| Dunn was the lead investigator and undercover agent in numerous high profile investigations, including Operation "Incubator" which targeted high-level public corruption in Chicago and New York City . The lengthy investigation in Chicago eventually resulted in the convictions of dozens of public officials, including several Aldermen and the Cook County Clerk. The Chicago investigation spun off to New York City and the trials (conducted by and under the auspices of then-U.S. Attorney Rudy Giuliani) and resulting convictions of the high level corrupt politicians were correctly described by the press as the worst corruption in more than 100 years of New York politics. Dunn was one of the first undercover agents in the federal government's landmark investigation, "Greylord", which was the highly successful prosecutions of corrupt Cook County judges, clerks, and attorneys which resulted in the convictions of almost two dozen Cook County judges, in addition to the convictions of other corrupt clerks, judges, and bagmen. |

Violent crimes, such as kidnapping and murder, bank robbery, domestic terrorism, drug cases, and organized crime investigations have all been resolved through tenacious investigation by Dunn. Additionally, he was the undercover agent being solicited to murder witnesses in two murder-for-hire investigations which resulted in the convictions of both soliciting individuals and lengthy prison sentences for each. Dunn is very proud of the fact that he maintained an excellent working relationship with other law enforcement agencies, investigators, prosecutors, and witnesses. In order to resolve any investigations, but especially the difficult and often long-term investigations, such relationships were a vital part of their successful resolutions. . |

| Dunn has testified extensively before petit and grand juries and literally hundreds of times throughout the United States in local and federal venues, and was designated an expert witness in automobile theft investigations in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He is well aware of the adversarial nature of the criminal and civil justice system within the United States and was proud to present and defend his investigation while being examined and cross-examined under oath. |

Gary Dunn was often called upon to conduct background investigations on individuals being considered for the most sensitive and important positions in the federal government, including U.S. Supreme Court Justices and high-level Presidential appointments. It was imperative that such investigations be thorough and exhaustive in order to ensure that the best possible candidate was vetted completely.

After his distinguished FBI career, Dunn was the program chair of the Criminal Justice Department at a local community college where he oversaw the development of an emerging program which included the hiring of faculty, the administration and improvement of the curriculum, the institution of an outstanding intern program and the instruction of classes. An expert on interview and interrogation techniques, he is an accomplished instructor and lecturer.

Dunn has received numerous awards and recognitions for his excellent work throughout his career from FBI Directors, local and federal prosecutors, police agencies and citizens. During his FBI career, he was meritoriously promoted on three occasions. He has been designated as an honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Indiana State Police, a Kentucky Colonel, and was the Indiana President and National Chapter Representative for the FBI Agent's Association for six years. Prior to his distinguished law enforcement career, Dunn was a United States Naval Officer for five years and a production supervisor at both a small and multi-national production facility. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from DePaul University in Chicago , where he graduated with Distinction. Dunn is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the American Society of Industrial Specialists (ASIS), International Association of Auto Theft Investigators, Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, FBI Agent's Association, American Legion, National Rifle Association and Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
